When you are thinking, you are thinking with your conscious mind. Wishes and desires feeds this conscious mind - "I want this" or "I wish I had this".
When you are fully involved in an activity, your conscious mind does not pay attention to what is going on around you. This is when your subconscious mind kicks in. When the conscious mind steps back from being in total control, this is when the subconscious mind is in control and it drives you without you realizing.
Most of your life comes from a subconscious point of view.
Most of the time you are being driven by the damages of your subconscious mind, not your conscious mind at all.
What is subconscious programming?
Your subconscious mind starts being programmed in the last trimester of pregnancy until you are around 7. This period is the most intense part of our programming.
Kids are like sponges and pick up everything around them, especially in these years.
As you grow into an adult, your programming becomes more fixed, because our brains become less influenced. We start to function at a different brain wave state than we did in those first 7 years and this makes it harder for us to absorb as much information or be as impacted by it from a subconscious perspective.
Your adult life becomes a guide way of your subconscious programming at this point. The limiting beliefs that have been programmed into us in the first 7 years then start to hold us back in adulthood. Our subconscious mind and its programming starts to come to the front stream, and controls the way we show up in the world unconsciously. This causes us to get stuck in limiting beliefs.
Here's some examples of limiting beliefs you might adopted and not aware of:
-I can’t do this!!
-I’m not good enough
- I’m going to fail
- I’m not attractive enough
-I'm not smart enough
-I'm too old or young for this or that
There is a ton of subconscious beliefs that you might not be consciously aware of that you have adopted. Just look at the life you are living, and not happy with. its a version of your own programs, and this will show you where your limiting beliefs are.
Can’t get the job or raise you want? Can’t start your own business? Can’t find a deeply loving and satisfying soul mate? Look at your programming. The problems in your life will show you where the gaps and challenges are and what is holding you back.
And once you understand what is holding you back by your subconscious programming, you can then start to move forward into reprogramming your mind.
You reprogram your mind by setting healthy practices and rituals for your self daily. Like mediation, yoga, speaking affirmations and breathing techniques. Reprogramming your mind is all about creating good habits to replace the bad habits.
We all have fail victim to being programmed, and not in a good way. In today’s society, most of the programs are negative, dis-empowering and structured around limiting beliefs. But you have the power to release all of that programming, and focus on what you believe, know, and want to see change in your life.
